Grow for your future and your neighbors!

Promoting community connections while reconnecting with the natural world

Native Foodscapes works to design, install and maintain gardens, food forests, and native plant and wildflower assemblages. With an emphasis on fostering healthy soil through diverse microorganism associations by utilizing compost, mulch, cover crops, and no-till practices, we ensure your plants have a strong foundation to thrive. Get in touch to start turning your land into an edible, resilient landscape, promoting ecological functions while developing your own food forest. We can build water catchment systems, greenhouses, cold frames, and hoop houses to grow different foods year-round! I look forward to building community connections and helping your ideas turn into reality.

More About Us

Our Story

Native Foodscapes intends to help folks grow their own food, support native biodiversity, foster community resilience, and utilize active and passive rainwater harvesting systems, with an emphasis on water conservation. By incorporating diverse combinations of native plants, wildflowers, and edible plants, we are building community resilience, diverse partnerships, and promoting food security and sovereignty. Working with drought-tolerant varieties of native and naturalized plants ensures a thriving ecological community capable of resilience in facing our dry, hot seasons along with unexpected storms.

Upon completing two college degrees in Environmental Science, working with local plant nurseries, and being involved in the local food system, I felt that the best way I can help with the many complex environmental issues was to start this business. Some environmental issues that are being addressed and improved upon through my services include saving water, promoting genetic diversity, ecosystem resilience, food security, invasive species control, and promoting adaptability in the face of a changing climate.
